Brief Vitae

REBECCA MADRONE follows a dual professional path of visual art and  garden design/care. She has been working in the horticultural field for many years as a professional designer, carer, and innovative site manager and renovation specialist. She has a love of California Native Plants and Mediterranean Gardens. Her keen interest in Photography and Visual Arts led her to participating in Marin Open Studios in 2022 and the Healdsburg Arts Festival also in 2022.

Rebecca enjoys hiking, music study, and cooking in her relaxation time. Rebecca is also connected to the wider community, and has volunteered at the Regional Parks Botanic Garden of California Native Plant communities in Berkeley and the Freight and Salvage Coffeehouse, a live music venue in Berkeley.

Rebecca received her BA in Environmental Studies and Planning from Sonoma State University with honors and excelled in Visual Art and Horticulture at City College of San Francisco. She makes her home in Marin County, California close to Mount Tamalpais. Rebecca was born in Southern California, and relocated to Northern California when she was five. Rebecca loves the coast and the High Sierras, frequent subjects of her photography.
